Dance Families of Stanwood

More than just dancing ...

In the summer of 2019, a few dance moms got together to brainstorm about how they could fund raise for not just their own kids but for others in their dancing community.

To these passionate mothers, dance is more than “just a sport”. This extracurricular activity provides our children with a way to stay active, make new friends, and explore their interests.

It builds character and shows the importance of team work. The physical and mental health benefits have poured over into all aspects of our dancer’s lives, and we want to continue to help them grow!

ANY SPORT has costs. Dancing, whether it is recreational or competition, has a monthly tuition plus other overhead costs. Families know this going into the studio, but it doesn’t mean we are all not looking for ways to raise additional funds.

This was the initial reason for us putting together this group. We also want to share our children’s love of dance with everyone, and connect with other dance families in the area to help them fund raise!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for joining along with us on this new idea. We hope you will benefit from it too.
